Sender Films is a leading producer of documentaries, tv shows, and commercial content in the outdoor adventure space. Born from a passion for climbing, we’ve spent twenty years telling spectacular stories, with an emphasis on character, humor, and heart.
Our feature documentaries, King Lines, Valley Uprising, The Dawn Wall and The Alpinist (coming soon), have helped reinvent and expand the genre, with successful theatrical runs, global releases on Netflix and other platforms, and dozens of prestigious awards and nominations, from The Emmys, SXSW, Producers Guild of America, and many more.
On the commercial side, we combine our expertise shooting in the world’s most rugged locations with our deep storytelling chops, to craft authentic and engaging narratives for clients such as Google, Red Bull, The North Face, Citibank, Dewar’s, Patagonia, Yeti, Clif Bar, and more. Our commercials, multimedia campaigns, and branded content projects have racked up 20 million views on YouTube, aired on broadcast around the world, and earned a dozen Webby, Shorty, Addy, and AVA awards and nominations.
In 2005, we founded the REEL ROCK Film Tour, which has grown into the biggest global platform for cutting-edge climbing stories. Each year, Reel Rock brings a new batch of awe-inspiring films to a dedicated audience, with nearly 1,000 live screening events, virtual premieres, a TV series, and millions of views on YouTube, Instagram, and beyond.
